ProSep®-vA Ultra chromatography media provides high binding capacity and improved process economics for the capture and purification of monoclonal, polyclonal and engineered antibodies. It is designed to address the needs of today’s higher titer, large volume fermentation feedstocks. Titers in excess of 1g/L and fermenter volumes of 10,000 liters and larger can easily be processed in a single day.

The ProSep® family of resin matrix is optimized for large-scale production operations and offers significant advantages compared with other available matrices. ProSep®-vA Ultra chromatography media consist of animal-free protein A immobilized on porous glass that is permeated by interconnecting pores of uniform and precisely controlled size. ProSep®-vA Ultra chromatography media exhibit chemical and mechanical stability over a range of conditions, including low pH, exposure to detergents, buffers of varying ionic strengths and many organic solvents.

ProSep®-vA Ultra media has been designed to maintain the same basic attributes of ProSep®-vA High Capacity but gives an even higher binding capacity (human IgG static binding capacity: ≥ 56 mg/ mL).
