PAB Cleaning Solution
Ready-to-Use, Rapidly Sanitizing
In today’s manufacturing process, sanitization is required for high value chromatography resins – both between batches and prior to storage. While NaOH, the most widely used sanitant in bioprocessing, is very effective for polymer based resins, silica based resins require sanitization and storage with acidic solutions.
Our ready-to-use, rapidly sanitizing PAB solution is specifically designed for the cleaning and storage of our ProSep® and Eshmuno® Protein A affinity chromatography media. This new stable PAB solution consists of benzyl alcohol, acetic acid and phosphoric acid, a composition which is effective against microbial contamination while protecting the valuable resins from decomposition at the same time.
