DescriptionAnti-Exo70 Antibody, clone 70X13F3
Alternate Names
  • Exocyst complex component 7
  • Exocyst complex component Exo70
  • rExo70
Background InformationThe exocyst complex component 70 (Exo70) is a component of the exocyst complex, an octameric structure that is also comprised of Sec3, Sec5, Sec6, Sec8, Sec10, Sec15, Exo70, and Exo84. The exocyst complex facilitates the fusion of secretory vesicles with the plasma membrane and the release of vesicular cargo, which may include neurotransmitters, hormones, and membrane proteins. Previous studies have indicated that Exo70 plays an important role in actin assembly and cell motility.
