DescriptionAnti-PAX3, clone 7D8G7 Antibody
Alternate Names
  • Paired box protein Pax-3
  • HuP2
Background InformationPaired box protein Pax-3, also known as HuP2, and encoded by the gene name PAX3 or HUP2, is a transcription factor that may be involved in regulating cell proliferation, migration, and apoptosis. Members of the PAX family typically contain a paired box domain and a paired-type homeodomain. These genes play critical roles during fetal development. Mutations in paired box gene 3 are associated with Waardenburg syndrome, craniofacial-deafness-hand syndrome, and alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma.
