    Revision25-September-2014 JSW
DescriptionA reversible protease inhibitor produced by actinomycetes. Inhibits cathepsin A and B as well as papain, and trypsin-like serine proteases. Acts by forming a hemiacetal adduct between the aldehyde group of the inhibitor and the active proteinase. Effective at concentrations range from 1 to 100 µM.
