Bioburden Testing of Non-Sterile Products
For bioburden testing of raw materials, water, and end products, we provide ready-to-use and granulated dehydrated culture media prepared according to the European, US, and Japanese Pharmacopeias.
Culture media based on Casein Soy Bean Digest or Sabouraud Dextrose are recommended for the microbial enumeration tests (TAMC, total aerobic microbial count; TYMC, total yeast/ mold count). Our ready-to-use TAMC and TYMC media range comprises:
Solid Culture Media
- Granulated Dehydrated Culture Media
- in 500 g and 5 Kg pack sizes for the determination of the total aerobic cell count (Tryptic Soy agar) and of total yeast and mold counts (Sabouraud 4% Dextrose agar).
- Solid Culture Media
- in 90 mm LI (Long Incubation) plates for the determination of the total cell count (storage at 15-25 °C)
- in 90 mm standard plates for the determination of the total cell count (storage at 4-12 °C)
- in bottles and tubes for Pour-Plate-Method and maintenance of stock cultures
- Liquid Media
- in a selection of bottles and tubes for enrichment cultures
