      OverviewRecombinant, mouse growth differentiation factor-8 (GDF-8)/myostatin propeptide, consisting of amino acids 25-285, fused at the C-terminus to a His•Tag® sequence, and expressed in NS0-derived mouse myeloma cells. GDF-8 is a secreted protein that is expressed during embryonic development and in adult skeletal muscle.
