Acid-Fast Bacteria Fluorescence
For fluorescence detection of acid-fast bacteria under the microscope, we offer the AFB-Fluor staining kit with all the necessary solutions you need for successful analysis. The AFB-Fluor kit is suitable for sputum, pleural effusions, bronchial lavage, urine and histological sections. The AFB-Fluor staining kit is also available as a phenol-free version.
Ziehl-Neelsen Staining
Our Ziehl-Neelsen carbol-fuchsin solution is optimized for the standard hot staining method of acid-fast bacteria detection. It is suitable for smears as well as for paraffin sections. We also offer ready-to-use AFB-Color kits for the cold staining method, based on a modified Ziehl-Neelsen technique. In this case, the carbol-fuchsin solution no longer requires heating.
