Chromolith® HPLC Columns

Flow Programming

Chromolith® HPLC columns respond very quickly to changes in flow rate, giving you maximum flexibility in flow programming. Rates can be adjusted in mid-flow either to enhance the peak definition of the target compound, or to shorten the total separation time once the target compound has successfully eluted. This enables clearer separation of two closely eluting peaks, without significantly affecting the total run time. A mid-flow change in flow rate can also reduce the total run time when certain compounds elute much later than other sample components.
