ISOSLIDE® AFB - Detection of Acid-fast Bacteria (AFB)

Confirmation of AFB, such as Mycobacteria, can be complicated by critical specimen conditions or low bacterial count. New ISOSLIDE® AFB control slides are specially prepared to give you greater security in your results and diagnostics. One slide is pre-stained with TB-color, and serves as a positive control for the detection of Mycobacteria in histological tissue. The remaining 24 slides are unstained paraffin sections

ISOSLIDE® Congo Red - Detection of Amyloids

Technical issues, such as low amyloid content in the sample material, or an excessively thin paraffin section, can make visualization of amyloids a serious challenge in histology. ISOSLIDE® Congo red control slides help you avoid uncertainty by providing you with a reliable comparison. The box contains one positive control slide, which is pre-stained with Congo red acc. to Highman, as well as 24 unstained preparations.
