Rebranding of BioMonitoring products
Dear Valued Customer,
This year, you may receive a communication detailing changes in our logo and branding. These changes are a result of the Merck KGaA, Darmstadt Germany, acquisition of MilliporeSigma Corporation. In addition to logo changes on our Web sites (see above), many of you have seen the new "M" logo on most MilliporeSigma Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Certificates of Analysis (CoA).
At the end of 2013, we will begin to introduce the globalized BioMonitoring product range. Most of these products are currently offered under the EMD Chemicals name - are being rebranded under the new combined MilliporeSigma identity. These rebranded items will be identical in every aspect with no change in product quality, performance, or specification. The only distinguishing change will be in branding and hazardous symbols.
These changes are necessary to avoid product duplication and ensure that all of our materials accurately reflect the new MilliporeSigma brand and GHS hazard symbols (GHS = Globally Harmonized System of Classification, Labeling and Packaging of Chemicals).
Please see the list for BioMonitoring products currently undergoing global product number harmonization and the cross reference for the old and the new / replacement part number. This list will be updated at the beginning of each quarter as new changes are implemented. Again, please be assured that the actual rebranded products you order are not changing. You can still expect the same high quality, innovation, and reliability that you have always received from MilliporeSigma.
