General description
Purified inactivated capsid protein from CHIKV Mauritius strain (CHIKVMAU), challenged with live virus (CHIKVTHAI), followed by a final boost with inactivated antigen (CHIKVTHAI).
Specificity
Clone 5.5G9 specifically detects capsid protein in Chikungunya virus. It detects N-truncations (N1-4) and the full-length capsid protein.

Storage and Stability
Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.
