Chemicals subject to regulation by the California Department of Justice to meet certain obligations under the California Health and Safety Code.

This list includes gamma butyrolactone, piperidine, hydriodic acid, iodine (pure or aqueous solutions), barbituric acid, malonic acid, 1,4-butanediol, morpholine and methylamine and tinctures.

These obligations specify that we sell products listed by this agency only to customers with a valid Permit for Controlled Chemical Substances and that we request a copy of the permit issued by this agency for our files. N.B. The California authorities advise that permit requests must be placed at least 21 days prior to order shipment; this does not guarantee the permit will be issued within this time frame. The attached letter explains how to obtain this required permit.
