Our broad portfolio consists of multiplex panels that allow you to choose, within the panel, analytes that best meet your needs. On a separate tab you can choose the premixed cytokine format or a single plex kit.
Cell Signaling Kits & MAPmates™
Choose fixed kits that allow you to explore entire pathways or processes. Or design your own kits by choosing single plex MAPmates™, following the provided guidelines.
The following MAPmates™ should not be plexed together:
-MAPmates™ that require a different assay buffer
-Phospho-specific and total MAPmate™ pairs, e.g. total GSK3β and GSK3β (Ser 9)
-PanTyr and site-specific MAPmates™, e.g. Phospho-EGF Receptor and phospho-STAT1 (Tyr701)
-More than 1 phospho-MAPmate™ for a single target (Akt, STAT3)
-GAPDH and β-Tubulin cannot be plexed with kits or MAPmates™ containing panTyr

Select A Species, Panel Type, Kit or Sample Type
To begin designing your MILLIPLEX® MAP kit select a species, a panel type or kit of interest.
Custom Premix Selecting "Custom Premix" option means that all of the beads you have chosen will be premixed in manufacturing before the kit is sent to you.
If you have chosen panel analytes and then choose a premix or single plex kit, you will lose that customization.

Nitrogen and phosphorus analyzers use water to prepare samples and standards, blanks, and for rinses.
For more information on the impact of water on Kjeldahl analysis, please visit the section dedicated to this topic.
Water Quality Parameters
Ammonia, ammonium and nitrogen-containing organics: Molecules containing nitrogen (organic and inorganic) may interfere with nitrogen analysis, and lead to erroneously high results. All nitrogen-containing compounds should be kept to a minimum.
Water should also be free of nitrates and nitrites, since the presence of these ions will give artificially high nitrogen concentration.
Arsenate interefers with phosphorus analysis because it reacts with the molybdate reagent in a similar manner to that of phosphate.
High levels of silica also interferes with phosphorus analysis; it forms a similar complex with molybdenum as phosphate does, and cause an overestimation of phosphorus.
Water should be free of phosphates and phosphorus-containing compounds that could give artificially high phosphorus levels.
Bacteria levels should be kept to a minimum, as they may form biofilms that could contaminate the analyzer, leading to additional maintenance. In addition, bacteria release by-products that may interfere with the analysis.
Pure or ultrapure water delivered with a 0.2 µm screen filter as final filter is recommended for nitrogen and phosphorus analyzers.
