Measuring drug absorption is another important preclinical test of a possible drug. Our MultiScreen plates can measure passive permeability via the PAMPA assay or traditional cell-based screening assays. It is simple and robust, and results correlate with human absorption data.

To help you quantify drug transport across cell membranes, we’ve patented a specially designed MultiScreen plate for growing Caco-2 cells or other tissue specific cells. By using a single plate for the whole screening process, from growing cells to assaying transport, you’ll get data quickly and reproducibly.
