Mobius® 2D and 3D assemblies are used throughout bioprocessing to improve flexibility, speed and efficiency. These assemblies are key components for ergonomic and scalable fluid management, from media and buffer preparation to final fill operations. The performance specifications for process containers are highly dependent on both the operation being performed and the volume and value of fluid being managed.
Our Ultimus® and PureFlex™ single-use films are available in a variety of container formats and offer an inert fluid contact layer with a low extractables profile. These films provide the flexibility, robustness and chemical resistance you expect from our Mobius® single-use process containers.
Ultimus® film was designed to meet the needs of more challenging single-use applications such as large volume liquid processing. Our Ultimus® film technology provides enhanced bag strength, improved durability and leak resistance through a novel strength layer reinforced by woven nylon. The ultra-low density polyethylene (ULDPE) fluid contact layer is free of animal origin components, demonstrates a low extractables profile and promotes healthy cell growth. Ultimus® film is available in Mobius® 3D bag assemblies greater than 200 L.
PureFlex™ films are high-purity, medical-grade, coextruded films designed to provide flexibility, low gas permeability, and an inert product contact layer. PureFlex™ films offer the flexibility for a broad range of single-use applications and enable a single film to be used in multiple process steps throughout a production process.
