      ApplicationImmunoblotting (1:250-1:500)
      Immunoprecipitation (assay dependent)
DescriptionMouse monoclonal antibody supplied as diluted ascites. Recognizes the ~68-90 kDa MARCKS protein.
BackgroundA protein kinase C (PKC) substrate and indicator of PKC activation. Upon stimulation PKC phosphorylates MARCKS causing the translocation of MARCKS from the plasma membrane to the cytoplasm. MARCKS is ubiqutously expressed in all tissues and phosphorylated by most isoforms of PKC.
