Special InstructionsFollowing reconstitution in 0.5% NaHCO₃, refrigerate (4°C). Do not freeze or shake, as SH groups may be oxidized and form linkages between protein molecules, resulting in precipitation, turbidity, and loss of activity. NaHCO₃ stock solutions are stable for 2-3 days at 4°C. Following reconstitution in 0.1 M imidazole buffer, aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Imidazole stock solutions are stable for up to 4 weeks at -20°C. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles, as 20-30% of activity will be lost with each freeze/thaw cycle.
