      The concentration of this solution was determined with sodium thiosulfate standard solution (article number 1.09147) standardized against volumetric standard potassium iodate (article number 1.02404). The determined titer at 20°C was 1.000 with an expanded measurement uncertainty of ± 0.004 (k=2 coverage factor for 95% coverage probability). The certified value is traceable to primary standard NIST SRM 136f (NIST: National Institute of Standards and Technology, USA) by means of volumetric standard potassium iodate, measured in the accredited calibration laboratory of KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany in accordance to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
