2017 Chromatography User Group Meeting
Nov. 7–9, 2017 in Cambridge, MA at the Hyatt Regency Hotel
Join us for our Chromatography User Group Meeting taking place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Cambridge, Mass., on November 7–9, 2017. Meet with other chromatography peers to share best practices, exchange common industry observations, and identify existing challenges and future trends as well as needs in affinity and ion exchange chromatography.
Building on the success of previous meetings, this technical user forum is now in its 13th year. Chaired by Tim Iskra, Senior Principal Scientist at Pfizer, we will discuss a variety of topics including:
Process development + optimization
- High throughput screening: resin selection, optimization case studies,
challenges and needs
- How to ensure robust impurity removal throughout the downstream
processes
- Protein A intermediate wash and elution optimization
- Cleaning and sanitization of Protein A and IEX resins
Characterization of chromatographic processes
- IEX process characterization including the use of DOE tools
- mAb charge variant separation on preparative scale
- Scale-up and scale-down of Protein A and IEX processes
- Process productivity and cost analysis case studies
Industry trends
- Process intensification and continuous bioprocessing
- Regulatory considerations for Protein A and IEX
- Best practices for column packing and handling at all scales
Attendance to the "2017 Annual Chromatography User Group Meeting" is limited and available to pharma or biopharma manufacturers and academics only. The offer does not extend to any company that provides pharma or biopharma products or services. We reserve the right to revoke or refuse participation at any time.
Biotechnology and biopharmaceutical industry professionals, including those in chromatography R&D, process development, production management and process engineering.
The meeting is at full capacity. Registration is now closed. We look forward to seeing you at the 2017 Chromatography User Group meeting.
